Ways to Donate
Donate Directly
Your donation allows us to provide direct financial assistance to active and retired Law Enforcement, Military, Fire, and their immediate family members who suffer from depression and/or anxiety to go through TMS treatment. Active duty individuals will always take priority, then retired individuals, then immediate family members.
On your donation, you can notate whether you want your donation to go to the general fund, law enforcement fund, military fund, or firefighter fund. You will also have the ability to notate if you’d like your donation to benefit a specific department.
-
This money will be used for the general business operations of the non-profit - marketing, advertising, business costs (i.e. everything needed to run this ship) and for the immediate family members of the military/first responders who apply for treatment.
-
This money is reserved for Law Enforcement Officers (active or retired) that apply for TMS treatment. The donor will also have the ability to write in a specific Police Department which means that money will be reserved for any officers from that specific department for treatment.
Example: A donation is made to the Law Enforcement fund with the description of “Michigan State Police (MSP)” - it will go into a specific “MSP” fund so when an officer from MSP applies for TMS treatment, the monies will be there and ready.
Please Note: If you do make a donation to a specific department, we will keep the funds tied to that department for one year from the date of donation. After one year it will be moved to the greater Law Enforcement fund.
-
This money is reserved for Military personnel (active or retired) that apply for TMS treatment. The donor will also have the ability to write in a specific branch of the military which means that money will be reserved for any personnel from that specific branch for treatment. Branches include: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corp, and Coast Guard.
Example: A donation is made to the Military fund with the description of “Marine Corp” - it will go into a specific Marine Corp fund so when an active or former Marine applies for TMS treatment, the monies will be there and ready.
Please Note: If you do make a donation to a specific military branch, we will keep the funds tied to that branch for one year from the date of donation. After one year it will be moved to the greater Military fund.
-
This money is reserved for Firefighters (active or retired) that apply for TMS treatment. The donor will also have the ability to write in a specific Fire Department which means that money will be reserved for any firefighters from that specific department for treatment.
Example: A donation is made to the Firefighter fund with the description of “Detroit Fire Department (DFD)” - it will go into a specific DFD fund so when a firefighter from DFD applies for TMS treatment, the monies will be there and ready.
Please Note: If you do make a donation to a specific department, we will keep the funds tied to that department for one year from the date of donation. After one year it will be moved to the greater Firefighter fund.
