Overcoming Our Depression
Officers Off Duty is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on mental health awareness and financial support for treatment for active and retired Law Enforcement Officers (LEO), Military personnel, Firefighters, and their families. This organization was founded by a LEO and his wife who had a real, positive experience with a depression/anxiety treatment called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and have a passion for helping others. Our goal is to educate, empower and provide.
Educate these individuals, their families, departments/agencies, and the general public on the prevalence of depression and anxiety in these jobs, the stigma of mental health in these jobs, what Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is, and how it can help.
Empower these individuals to speak up and ask for help - overcoming the stigmas of mental health. Help departments and agencies change the conversation around mental health from the top down.
Provide financial assistance to active and retired LEOs, Military, Fire, and their immediate family members as they seek treatment for depression and anxiety in a more natural way through TMS.
We are here to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2)
